By using ZimLearn ("the app", "our service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About the Service

ZimLearn is an educational platform that provides ZIMSEC-aligned learning tools for Grade 3 to Grade 7 students, including quizzes, exams, flashcards, game-based learning, and study notes. The service also provides tools for teachers to create exams and track student progress.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid mobile phone number to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• Student accounts may be created by a teacher on behalf of the student.
• You must not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use one account simultaneously.

3. Subscription & Payment

• ZimLearn requires an active subscription to access learning features.
• Subscription payments are made via EcoCash or other approved methods as communicated in the app.
• Subscriptions are non-refundable once the subscription period has begun.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any purpose other than educational learning.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorisation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Share exam questions or answers outside the platform in a way that undermines the examination process.
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

• All questions, content, and materials provided through ZimLearn are owned by us or our content contributors.
• Study notes you create are your own content. You retain ownership of notes you write.
• Teachers who contribute questions grant us the right to use those questions within the platform for educational purposes.

6. Device Limits

Each account is limited to a set number of active devices. If you exceed your device limit, you will need to log out from an existing device or contact support. This protects against unauthorised sharing of accounts.

7. Teacher Responsibilities

• Teachers are responsible for the student accounts they create.
• Teachers may view student learning data (quiz answers, exam results, progress) for educational purposes only.
• Teachers must not share student data with unauthorised third parties.

8. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through our account deletion page.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 7 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

• ZimLearn is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
• We do not guarantee exam results or academic outcomes.
• We are not liable for any loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the last 3 months.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe.
